I am a teacher!
I have a Bachelors of Education in Irish and French teaching. I have taught children, teenagers and adults in schools, on immersion courses, in person and online.

I am a learner!
We didn't speak Gaeilge (Irish) at home. I learned it in school from the age of 4, and have fallen in love with it ever since. I know what it feels like to learn Irish from scratch and what it takes to become fluent.
I have also achieved a C1 level in French,
and have just begun learning Italian.
I love the Gaeltacht
(Irish speaking areas of Ireland)
I love visiting and working in the Gaeltacht.
I've worked on 14 Gaeltacht immersion summer courses since the age of 15, in Conamara (Connemara), Oileáin Chléire (Cape Clear Island) and Gaeltacht an Oileáin Úir (North American Gaeltacht in Canada). There's something speisialta (special) about being in the Gaeltacht with other passionate speakers and learners.
I am a business owner!
I founded Ranganna le Rebecca in 2025 with the aim of bringing the draíocht (magic) and spiorad pobail (community spirit) of being in the Gaeltacht to anyone, anytime, any place - regardless of time zones.
